reaper beats all of those ones mentioned. its only nagware but if you do plan on buying it its only $60 and does allot more then some major daws. at some point though youre gonna want to replace that mic and get something better and a sound interface as well.

The simplest (but real bad) program is already on you PC (if you have Windows)
Goto Start > All Program's > Desk Accessories >Entertaiment > Soundrecorder (XP)

you cant multitrack with soundrecorder. so its really pointless when it comes to recording music.

its pointless because you want to record to a beat to keep the acapella synced to a beat. you cant really do that with sound recorder. with a multitrack daw you can record to a beat then mute the beat when you do a mixdown to send the acapella for someone else to mix.

its a decent free editor. but like sound recorder its not intended for multitracking. its 100x better than sound recorder though. id recommend reaper as its practically free and it provides protools like features.

I've have been producing locally for a few years and I've used a whole lot recording programs and bruh for you I think you cant go wrong With Fl Studio 9. (It has to be FL 9, not 8, 7, 6, ect. Must be 9 because it clears up back ground noise.)

If you practice hard as hell with its you can make real magic. So um...take a lil visit to PirateBay.com...lol. I never pay for programs. :D lol.

Good Luck. :top:
