Selling Beats/Songs on Jee Juh - Your Input Wanted

We have been working on an audio player for Jee Juh that will show on user's profile pages above their visitor comments. Users will be able to post any of their songs/beats/videos for others to hear/watch. We also want to give users the option of selling their song/beats for a monthly fee or a percentage of their profits. We are trying to decide between these two options:

1) $4.99 monthly fee, artists/producers keep 100% of their sales profits
2) no monthly fees, artists/producers keep 75% of their sales profits

What do you guys think?

Personally, I would go with option 1. If I did post beats up here and they sold like mad, I would be more willing to keep all profit and throw down that 5 bucks a day.

I'm not a producer and I havn't sold any beats, so I wouldn't know how much you sell or how well it works sellin beats over a page like this so im lackin that knowledge.

But I would have to say option 1 makes more sence for both parties as it's a set amount so it won't vary depending on how much u sell one month.

id be interested in option 1 but it depends on how much traffic it would generate for my beats. ive already got access to other sites that do it for a tiny percentage.

Cool guys, thanks for your input. I think we'll go with option 1 then.

But everyone will still be able to post all their songs, beats and videos for free. So if you want to test out the player's functionality and see what kind of traffic you can generate first, you'll be able to. Then if you want to add the check boxes next to your beats with a "Buy Now" button at the top that will drive payments directly into your PayPal account, you'll be able to do that too.

I go with option 1 but 2 sounds good
maybe its cool with a affiliation program If somebody else promotes your beat he gets like 25% or 50% like on rocbattle
