As another battle tournament prepares to take flight without falling into the abyss of damnation that many past tournaments have suffered, Im taking it on myself to give you the heads up on each round & keep this one firmly in the air.
Round 1
*Star Battle*
6 Feet Shallow vs Endure
Looking at the line up it was hard to choose a stand out battle that could take the lime light and earn its place there. I concluded that the battle to watch out for here is this one for the simple fact that it is unpredictable in terms of expectations. Two of the sites great topical writers clash with their writtens tucked out of sight and their boxing gloves taped in place. On one hand we have a man who made a name for himself here as Damage C with his witty personals and original disses helping him gain a very respectable battle record. On the other we have a writer who has proved how dangerous he can be with the excellent drops he has put out to far. operating under the Endure profile is a man who has been around the site in many other forms for a long time without battling his way through cats... Not knowing what to expect here and with the potential on offer is what makes this the stand out tie.
Dope Antelope vs Stavstav
In one corner we have a seasoned battler who always comes hard with his unique and witty punches and is a legend on the site for his written drops and intense battles... and in the other corner we have Dope Antelope.
haha jokes.
StavStav has a baptism of fire on his hands in his first JJ tourny. New to the site he has been eager to battle - almost desperate - and although losing his first few he has recently picked up his first win and has show some elevation. Despite this though the hill he is trying to climb here is too steep and the odds are against him making the next round. (Stranger things have happened though)
P.I vs Slikz
The sites highest ranking battler goes head to head with one of the site most promising new arrivals in Slikz. With an impressive 48 wins under his belt P.I will be out to progress here in the hope of winning the tournament he has created and in what he specialises in. With his current rate of elevation P.I's bars are becoming almost 'the complete bar' with his multies and stinging disses. Slikz, although relatively inexperienced in battle on the site does have the potential lyrically to cause an upset but only if he comes with a harsh degree if hunger. This should be a good battle!
Noxi vs Infamous H
So Round 2 takes place here in the tourny with both battlers wanting to progress. Round 1 was taken by Noxi, who finds himself in a decent vein of form at the moment with his urge to come up with some original punches and better multies while Infa, who has been in good form himself recently didnt show up at the races that time. This will be why he will go out on a limb to get a win here and get one over on his UK counter part so if Nox is to stand a chance he knows he will have to come hard or go home as milli Mac likes to say.
Infa has show serious signs of elevation in his time here in both battles and writtens. His recent battle against P.I (which is still open for voting<--- go get ya asses on it!!!) proves this and thats what makes him one of the dark horses of the tourny in my view.
That sums it up and thats all from me until round 2. Goodluck to everyone!
