These dance competition events for the HipHop dancers and the BBoy Battles are held separate, but equal. The Tour goes to the four main Southern California areas: Inland Empire, Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego. Each competition will have one winner, however the top four will advance to the fifth and final event in September to compete for the SoCal Dance Tour title, the trophy, and $2,000.00. The individual winners of each of the four preliminary events will also be awarded $1,000. Which means one hip hop dance crew and one bboy crew can potentially earn up to $3,000. Along with the title of winning the first annual SoCal Dance Tour!!! Along with all this, the crowd will also not be let down, with tons of giveaways at each and every event.
