How old are you? Eazy-E and NWA are a huge part of hiphop history. They are one of the original gangsta rap groups. They arent famous for being good.

I see a bunch of people hating on Lil' Wayne

I personally like Lil' Wayne because his music is modern (and very excellent with subs in your trunk) and its also got some comedy in it.

Many people think his lyrics are shit and he just mumbles and giggles in his songs but I find some pretty clever metaphors in his songs as well as lyrics that make me laugh.

IMO anybody who hates on Wayne just doesn't like mainstream music (Which is O.K i'm not sitting here insulting the greats and old school stuff that they don't play on the radio like Nas, and Big(they are both superb))

But i actually love Lil' Wayne and i think he is doing very well for himself and providing good music. He has all these free mix tapes and even though he walks around with a shirt that says "I'm a fucking Genius" i think he deserved it selling like half a million copies of an album on its first day

I think the most overrated rapper is Jay-Z. I just dont like his music

That makes no sense. How can N.W.A. be ill and not Eazy? He's part of N.W.A. and was the leader of that group. If he didnt form N.W.A. and Ruthless Records Dre would have never existed and there would never had been a Death Row Records. He also signed Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. How many other groups where out there doing what he was doing in that time frame? He's influenced allot of todays music. How can he be overrated?

So if he's signed artists and he was in N.W.A that's gonna mean he's a good emcee?
We're talking about rappers, we're talking about emcees, not people as persons or what they have done here. Get it?

Nothing makes him a bad emcee, I fucking love Eazy's shit but in my opinion he is the worst emcee of N.W.A, Ice Cube, MC Ren and Dre just made it so much better.

I'm saying that keeping E as the best rapper ever is overrating: Rakim, Nas, Biggie, 'Pac, Dre, Cube, they're all much better.

If you still don't get it, forget it.

I listen to a balance of mainstream, alternative and old skool. But the most overrated rapper today, i cant just list one: Nicki Minaj, Gucci Mane and Lil' Wayne and Souljah Boy.

Clipse are soooo criminally underrated its a shame. Till the casket drops is a mad ill album. Pete Rock and CL Smooth may be old skool but they're underated. so is Substantial (he's kinda underground). And Lupe doesnt get enough appreciation.

Jayz and lil wayne without a doubt! Wayne gets so much hype people don't realize what he even says.. Which is nothing. Jayz is nothing special his old albums were aiight but not great, but bp3 killed the only respect I had for him.

Personally I just don't understand how people can say that lil wayne is the best MC out!... To me that is just plain silly.... The fact he does not write him lyrics down... IE BIggie and Jay Z is amazing.. i'll give him that much..... but he is not my style....

Easy was the weakest MC in the group.....when N.W.A formed it was Easy-E who fronted the money...

Easy did have some dope tracks though...one of them being the CLASSIC Boyz In Da Hood......Ren was supposed to be the top dawg of the group but people ended up likeing Ice Cube because of his aggression when he spit his rhymes......
