That's understandable but....as far as Eminem .....i mean that's the only way his career can go is down. Jay-Z's career ain't goin' down, he just had his 11th number 1 Album....he outdid Elvis.

    4 LIFE. FULL HEEL MODE.

i guess i didnt mean money wise, or mainstream wise.

i just meant theyve both regressed alot... understandable i guess. but on the biggest stage, i was disappointed in both albums, but expected BP3 to be bad. their music just isnt what it used to be. and before somebody starts in on the "times have changed, theyre evolving" shit, i hear that argument, but im not buying it. every album i listed is by an artist that is making good music that doesnt abide by mainstream standards. not that theres anything wrong with the mainstream, it is what it is, and just not for me.

so... instead of picking my list apart, make your own! thats what this thread is for.

and i thought KOD was okay, so was sickology 101, but not top 10 albums in my opinion. top 25 for both though.

well as far as relapse goes i thought it was a solid album....not as good as Eminem Show but he really does have some shining moments...his skills never regressed IMO...just not much subject material

Ghostdini yea i know alotta ppl hated that album but im a huge Ghost fan so i knew what kinda album it was gonna be...and i enjoyed his concept...yea a couple tracks were ehhh but guest house with fabo and lonely stood out for me big time

OB4CL2 surprised the hell outta me!!! a classic for these times

BP3 was the shitter of the year for me...jesus has Jay-z fell off...but he's following the trends so no surprise he would sell out

the ecstatic surprised me too...odds stacked against him...and Mos delivered a solid LP

    all in all.....ok year
