The battle Section votes

One problem with the battle section is the fact that votes are slow.

The best way from my experience on many other sites is to provide a vote link in the first post of your battle, by both battlers. That way at least those battling can get the favor returned.

Example. Dope V Pope.

Dope votes on a battle, copy and pastes his vote link into his own battle.
Pope does the same thing.

If this happened,there's more reason for people to vote, making the section more active, more battles being complete etc. It just cleans it up so much and makes it more of a team effort rather than...I battle, you vote. It shouldnt be a one way system.

Another point is the voting format, I think the current new one is OK, but a problem is people are ignoring it still. I ignored it myself. It should be forced that the format be used just to clear up things, and reasons for votes should be given too.

"I vote this guy" simply isnt good enough, you've gotta say why.

I hope these points are taken into consideration, I'd like to help as much as I can with this site cuz it looks like it has potential.

Break down votes should only be used by those who are experienced, say with a minimum of 100 posts or 5 battles or something..

We got polls already, but they aren't that "safe".

Huh? I'm not talking about polls, people voting is fine.

It's just that nobody is going to be bothered to vote, unless they have a reason to. This reason is so they can start a battle, if the rule said "you can only start battles if you provide 1 or 2 vote links" then people will be more inclined to vote and battles will finish quicker. At the moment people are just viewing battles and nobody is voting?

yeah I was one of the few that thought this was a good idea, it helps voting go better, I know people don't like rules about when you battle but c'mon don't be lazy. Also if you can't find a battle to vote on, I say leave some feedback at the RR&L forum so that can be your "Link"
