Hailing from Santa Cruz, California, Jee Juh producers Elliot Waite and Mike Lightner have been friends since childhood.
Their interest in music grew steadily, culminating in the formation of a band with two other high school friends.
Originally influenced by rock music, Mike played the bass, and Elliot the drums.
Their musical interests began to evolve as they started to experiment with digital production, and a new passion for hip hop encouraged them to produce their own original beats and record songs.
Both continued experimenting with digital re- cording while they pursued undergraduate degrees.
Academics, though, were a distraction from their true passion for music, and they both left college to pursue music full time.
Putting their gained experience and entrepreneurial aspirations together after moving back home to Santa Cruz, JeeJuh.com was created with an aim to help and inspire their customers through their music.
